The game

Prison Architect energy, telecoms problems

You run a tiny alternative network taking on Britain's lumbering incumbent, one street at a time. Every map is a real place, built from real open map data.

The background above isn't a render — it's the game running: a town on day 120, every lit street a duct you dug, every amber ring a job your vans are on.

🗺️

Real British towns

Every street, every building, every premises count comes from OpenStreetMap and Ordnance Survey open data. Start in a market town, grow across Gloucestershire, and one day — the country.

⛏️

The build is the game

Plan duct routes street by street, argue with landowners over wayleaves, bore under rivers, and watch your vans crawl the map fixing what the backhoe broke.

📈

Survive the evening peak

Selling broadband is easy. Carrying it at 8pm on a Sunday is the hard part. Size your backhaul against the peak, or watch satisfaction — and subscribers — walk.
